Christopher Harris is a Licensed Professional and Nationally Certified Counselor from The City of Detroit. Chris earned a BA in Integrative Studies in 2012 and MA in Counseling in 2015, both from Oakland University in Rochester, MI. He was also one semester short of earning a Bachelors in Social Work at Wayne State University. Christopher has worked, interned, and volunteered through the Tri-County area of Michigan in diverse settings such as the Macomb County Jail and Oakland County Court; the Boys & Girls Club in Lake Orion and Northpointe Academy in Highland Park; the Center for Multicultural Initiatives at Oakland University and C.A.R.E. of Southeastern Michigan in Fraser, MI. The foundation of Christopher’s experience as a licensed clinician is working with youth in the foster care and juvenile justice systems in residential treatment facilities. Christopher has worked at Crossroads for Youth in Oxford, Michigan and Detroit Behavioral Institute in Detroit.
