HSSC department welcomes new faculty member Dr. Lisa Marie Dillon
The HSSC department is pleased to welcome Dr. Lisa Marie Dillon to the College of Arts and Sciences. Dr. Dillon received her B.A. at Oakland University. She majored in Spanish Modern Language and Literature, and received a minor in Psychology. Also at Oakland University, she received her M.A. in Counseling. Dr. Dillon earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology at Wayne State University. She has taught Introductory, Developmental, Child, and Social Psychology at Macomb Community Colle
ge, and Wayne State University, along with Introductory to Spanish, Quantitative Methods, and English Foundations at University of Detroit Mercy and Davenport University. Dr. Dillon considers herself an Evolutionary Psychologist, and her main goal is to examine how behaviors present in the current population affect our reproductive success. Dr. Dillon will be teaching The World of the Mind, Research Methods for the Behavior Science, Social Psychology, and Animal Behavior in the Fall 2012. We welcome Dr. Dillon to the department.
