Lawrence Technological University listed as top Midwestern school

Lawrence Technological University has again been named one of the best in the Midwest, according to the Princeton Review. Only 159 colleges and universities in 12 Midwestern states made the list for 2018.

Lawrence Tech to honor former Gov. Blanchard with Global Citizen Award

James Blanchard, former governor of the state of Michigan, former U.S. ambassador to Canada, and former member of the U.S. House of Representatives, will become the fifth recipient of the Global Citizen Award to be presented by Lawrence Technological University on Saturday, Sept. 1 at the start of a new academic year.

Historic Frank Lloyd Wright home gets ongoing restoration by LTU alumni, faculty, staff

Affleck House, one of just three homes in metro Detroit designed by renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright in his Usonian style, is in the midst of a restoration, guided by alumni of Lawrence Technological University, which has owned the home since 1978.

A new Motown Museum summer camp for Detroit-area students between the ages of 8 and 12 will include a one-day field trip to Lawrence Technological University, where faculty and students in LTU’s Audio Engineering Technology program will introduce the campers to the science of music.

LTU upgrading student laptops, wireless network

Lawrence Technological University is in the midst of a $2.5 million laptop upgrade for about 1,300 of its students. The laptops, on average, include $70,000 worth of software per student.
