Meet Dr.Sibrina Collins, Executive Director of The Marburger STEM Center

The Marburger STEM Center is home to all things STEM on Lawrence Technological University's campus. This includes K-12 educational outreach activities, professional development workshops, extreme science saturdays, industry networking events and many additional opportunities that involve students interacting with STEM and Design related professions. Dr.Sibrina Collins is the executive director of the center housing these great programs!

LTU provides computer coding workshop at Sampson Webber Leadership Academy

Detroit – Lawrence Technological University hosted a computer coding workshop focused on the C computer programming language for middle school parents at Detroit’s Sampson Webber Leadership Academy. The event was hosted in partnership with LTU’s Marburger STEM Center and led by Dr. Sibrina Collins, executive director of The Marburger STEM Center.

LTU makes a "STEMsation" at Sampson Webber Leadership Academy

DETROIT – More than 50 parents and students attended Sampson Webber Leadership Academy’s STEMstation Night, a parent engagement event, held May 18 at SWLA, a K-8 academy within the Detroit Public Schools Community District. The event was hosted in partnership with Lawrence Technological University’s Marburger STEM Center.

LTU's STEM Center Outreach Initiative at the Michigan Science Festival-Detroit

LTU’s Marburger STEM Center led two stations at the Dossin Great Lakes Museum. “The goals of the MSU Science Festival are very much aligned with the goals of the Marburger STEM Center,” said Dr. Sibrina Collins, executive director of the Center. “Central to the work we do is to expose young people to the STEM and design fields and get them to understand how STEM shapes their daily experiences.”
