Future scientists, designers and engineers visit LTU's Southfield campus

Middle school students gained exposure and had fun during an interactive STEM workshop hosted by LTU’s  Marburger STEM Center. These future scientists and engineers toured the four colleges of LTU while learning about their offerings and the potential of each discipline. The tour ended on a high note as the students competed for prizes in creative challenges, such as Cards to the Sky.

Detroit Future City Competition

The Marburger STEM Center's executive director, Dr. Sibrinia Collins helped mentor a team from Farwell Recreation Center - DPRD, which was led by Ms. Katrina LeFlore and Chris LeFlore for The Engineering Society of Detroit's Future City Competition on January 22, 2018. The team brought home the 2018 Building a World of Difference Award.
