'Battle of the Badges' athletic events at LTU kick off sports fundraising campaign

Dozens of first responders and military personnel will visit Lawrence Technological University Friday, March 23, for the preliminary round of “2018 Midwest Battle of the Badges,” a sports competition sponsored by First Responders for Fitness and the Detroit Pistons. There will be charity basketball games and a tug-of-war tournament from 1 to 9 p.m. Friday at LTU’s Ridler Field House.

Lawrence Technological University has earned a No. 34 ranking on The Princeton Review's just-published list saluting the top 50 undergraduate schools to study game design for 2018. It’s the third straight year LTU’s game design program has made the list.
